A 10-INT Courier who took over Big Mountain could very well be a visionary with a match for Mr. After all, what your Courier is like is entirely up to you. It's variable not only due to the parameters presented by the game itself, but even by what you yourself decide. The trouble with ranking the Independent ending is that it's so variable. I’m open to being changed on this, though, so go ahead. House is better for the people, House may not care for a random Freeside Junkie, but in the Independent ending, that Freeside junkie is getting shot in the face by a raider. I know it’s probably canon considering the themes of the game and DLCs, but it still seems to me that the NCR or even Mr. “ Anarchy sounds good to me, then someone asks, who'd fix the sewers? Would the rednecks just play king of the neighborhood?”
The followers ending proves this.Īlso, even if the Courier takes out a few fiend leaders, they still remain to be a problem in Outer Vegas. It’s just a worse version of House’s ending, there’s no chance of advancing humanity and the Courier will probably just become a tyrant like House after starting to take money from the Casinos because they’ll realize they need a stable source of income to get anything done.Īt best, the Mojave will turn into a Wild West-type free for all, with the exception being the Strip, thus changing pretty much nothing.
Or at least second worst, compared to the Legion ending.
